Barn Rules - Please and Thank You

  • Stable Hours: 7:00am to 9:00pm

  • Driveway Courtesy: Only one vehicle on the drive at a time. This is a one lane road.

    • No passing on grass​

    • First vehicle on drive has the right-of-way

    • Keep vehicles on the gravel as much as possible

  • Do not take horses on the North side of the drive​

  • Do not ride horses on the drive or next to it. (If horses get loose they have a clear path to the highway and no help!)

  • Do not park or block the barn entrances

  • Do not park on gravel walkway to barn man-door

  • Do not park behind the main barn or on the driveway between the hay barn and main barn

  • No horses on the grass area around the dog pen

  • Do not tease, feed, or let dogs out of pens or stalls

  • Watch for cats and dogs around vehicles

  • NO SMOKING IN ANY OF THE BUILDINGS

    • USE CIGARETTE DISPOSAL TO PREVENT FIRES​

  • Keep barn doors shut during winter months to prevent water pipes from freezing

  • Barn gates must be closed when large barn doors are open

  • Do not use tack walkway between center stalls as a horse crossing. This is a potential safety hazard

  • Do not tie horses to barn wire fence gates, stall bars, blanket racks, or tie the barn doors to anything

  • Push stall door latch/handle all the way back when bringing horses in or out of the stall to prevent injury to the horse

  • Clean up the wash rack, blacksmith shop, and laundry room after use

  • Jumping only allowed in lessons or with special permission

  • All riders under 17 years of age MUST have adult supervision

  • No dogs allowed except with special permission

  • NO HUNTING ON PROPERTY
